Welcome to The Tomas Larsson Website, a website singularly focused on telling you more about Tomas Larsson.  “Fun!” I hear you say to yourself and sure let’s go with that, but let’s also mix in some actual information along the way.

Roughly 25 years ago I got my start as an Art Director at a small agency in NYC. Since then I’ve worn many hats, especially for someone who doesn’t even look that good in hats. I’ve been almost all of the creative agency acronyms; AD, CW, CD, GCD, ECD, CMO and CCO. I am currently the co-founder and CCO of two of my own beverage brands.

If you want the short version, you might want to check out my LinkedIn page like a sensible person. But if you love reading, read on. Think of it as a PowerPoint but with just words.

In 2020 I co-founded and launched EBBS, a new New York beer brand. We are sold in over 2,000 bars, restaurants and stores, and we’ve opened two EBBS taprooms, one at Citi Field and one in the heart of Williamsburg. EBBS is, at the time of writing, the fastest growing craft beer brand in New York.

Also in 2020 (because it was a fairly uneventful year with very little turmoil) I co-founded Fountain, a hard seltzer brand. We launched it in several US markets and the UK where by 2022 we became the #3 brand behind White Claw and Truly selling almost one million cans in one summer.

In 2018 I was the Chief Creative Officer for Mikkeller NYC. It was a short-lived excursion but it gave me the foundation to start EBBS and Fountain.

I joined Google-backed AI start-up (get your buzz-word Bingo cards out) Mohawk Group in 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer. Just before I left to pursue my passion for beer, the company went public and changed its name to Aterian. Under the Mohawk umbrella we launched 3 consumer brands on Amazon and grew them to a combined yearly revenue of over $100M+

2017 I spent freelancing so that I could have the freedom to hang out with my two boys as they learned to crawl and walk and talk. I got to work with several great teams on great brands at great agencies. Razorfish, Iris, Wasserman, SET Creative, Endeavor and SoHo Experiential.

Before that, from 2013-16 I served as SVP, ECD of Jack Morton rebuilding and leading a team of super talented people pitching and winning work for Captain Morgan, Smirnoff, Under Armor, Google and Capital One.

The three previous years (2010-13) I was Group Creative Director at Momentum where I led the team that produced the trailblazing (yea I said it) live stream music platform UNSTAGED for American Express. We produced 13 interactive, immersive live-streamed concerts of a program that still lives on today.

There’s other stuff too and it’s all available by clicking around this website but let’s face it, my fingers are tired from typing and you’re way over your daily word-count. In fact, if you’ve read this far, I’ll buy you a beer … as a treat.
