Fountain
Go hard. But also do whatever you want.
In 2020 I co-founded and launched Fountain, a new hard seltzer brand in an ever growing, increasingly crowded category. What would possess someone to do such a thing? Well we knew we could make a better product than those “other ones” and we could actually price it on par with them. So we set out to make a craft brewed hard seltzer wrapped in a beautiful brand. The brand was developed in partnership with Michael Beirut’s team at Pentagram, and brought to life by my in-house creative team. It was an immediate hit with critics and consumers alike. Fountain was launched in NYC, California and Arizona with US distribution quickly getting into, and selling out of, Costco.
We also brought it in the UK in 2021 where hard seltzer as a category was still in its infancy. We launched with Live Nation UK as the official hard seltzer of the summer music festival season and sold through nearly a million cans in a single summer.
Slick Rick collaboration. In 2022 we partnered with Slick Rick to make the La-di-da-di Party Pack, a collection of Rick’s favorite Fountain flavors.
